2018 WTA Finals Singapore
The BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore is the jewel in the crown of the WTA Tour. Last year's tournament was filled with excitement as current world number 1 Caroline Wozniacki stunned the crowds by winning the WTA Finals in Singapore for the first time ever, dismantling Venus Williams 6-4, 6-4. For the 2018 finals, many are backing Ukranian superstar Elina Svitolina seeing as she's been having a terrific year. However, the great thing about women's tennis is the field is always so open that anyone could win. Perhaps Britain will have a winner for the first time. Due to the WTA Singapore 2018 being very popular, we highly advise you to purchase your WTA Finals tickets before they run out.
Format explained
The WTA Finals will feature the 8 highest ranking singles players and double teams. The format for the singles is Round Robin as each player plays each other and the players with the highest number of wins progress. The winner and runner-up from each group then progress to the semi-finals and eventually finals where knockout tennis is played. The court surface, like the Australian and US Open, is hard court and there is an eye-popping prize money total of 7 million US dollars.
As well as watching world-class tennis you can get access to the Fan Village where there are a host of activities and fans can rub shoulders with their favourite players. Don't miss out on this celebration of tennis and buy BNP WTA Finals tickets now.
