Also known as the Grand Prix of the Americas, the Moto GP USA was launched in 2013 at Austin’s Circuit of the Americas, a 3.426 mile motor racing track that also stages the IndyCar Challenge, the F1 Austin, and rounds of both the ARX Rallycross Championship and FIM Road Racing World Championship. It subsequently became the third round of the MotoGP in the US, joining the Mazda Raceway Laguna’s United States Grand Prix and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s Indianapolis Grand Prix on the calendar. But while the former lost its place in 2014 and the latter a year later, the Moto GP USA has only gone from strength to strength. Typically staged each April, it features three World Championship categories, Moto 2, Moto 3, and the premier MotoGP class. Expect plenty of thrills and spills
